A. Fixed beam & travelling beam
For mounting on ship, either for suspension for instance on deck housing aftor by means of portals on deck. Toothed rack is mounted on travelling beam for transversal movement of trolley. Electric and mechanical stop is mounted at both ends of travelling beam.
B. Trolley
with 3 sets of double travelling wheels. Provided with rope pulleys, block and hook in both ends. Wire is an anti-rotation, galvanized wire.
1. Junction box
mounted on fixed travelling beam for current supply to the crane.
2. Cable drum
with springs having sufficient power to keep el-cable tight. Cable drum is provided with electric collector for current supply from junction box on fixed travelling beam to trolley.
3. Planet gear
for transversal travelling function. Gear is with negative brake and elec. motor. Pinion of gear is in engagement with toothed rack on fixed travelling beam.
4. Two hoisting winches
provided with planet gear, negative brake, and elec. motor. It is only possible to use one winch at a time. In the portable control box Pos. 8 a change-over switch from SB to PS winch and opposite is mounted. Drum of hoisting winch is designed for wire in max. 3 layers. Hoisting winch is provided with grooved drum.
5. Motor starter
is mounted on oil tank for pump station. The motor starter is mounted in a waterproof box and is provided with stand-still heating. Red lamp for overload el-motor and blue lamp for stand-still heating connected in motor and motor starter.
6. Portable remote control box
can be connected to trolley. The control box is equipped with joystick control levers for hoisting/lowering and SB/PS transversal movement. Start/stop push-buttons for pump station, emergency stop, and change-over switch between SB and PS winch. The control levers go to neutral position by spring power when not activated.
7. Remote control box
is provided with flexible cable and multiple plug. When crane is not used, the control box is stowed below deck.
8. Mechanical locking pin
for trolley in parked position. Locking pin is designed for the max. transversal load from trolley.
